What is RIM?

Most therapy works on the story.
RIM works on the memory itself.

Traumatic and difficult memories are stored differently in the brain. They don't integrate the way normal memories do they stay raw, reactive, and disconnected from the rest of your life. Talking about them helps. But it often doesn't change them.

RIM does something different. It invites your nervous system to re-enter the memory in a safe, body-centered way and regenerate it. Not erase it. Not reframe it. Regenerate it, from the inside, into an experience of resolution and empowerment.

The Dip

You close your eyes and begin to breathe. The facilitator brings your attention gently inward to sensation, to imagery, to what your body is already holding. No agenda. No script. Just following what arises.

The See

The imagery deepens. A core memory or emotional pattern rises naturally into awareness. This is where the most profound transformation happens in the part of the brain that holds the experience, not the story about it.

The Do

The memory is regenerated. You move, speak, choose differently within it. Your nervous system saves this as a new experience one of safety, agency, and resolution. The brain doesn't distinguish between imagined and lived.

The Integration

You return to full awareness with the new experience integrated into your story. Clients often describe feeling immediately lighter, clearer, and more like themselves than they have in years.

Published in Frontiers in Psychology (2025): A peer-reviewed study using EEG brain monitoring found that RIM produces altered states of consciousness comparable to psychedelic-assisted therapy without any substance. Brain activity shifted dramatically from the frontal lobes (conscious, analytical thinking) to the temporal lobes (intuitive, memory-based processing), particularly during the most imagery-intense phase of the session. Participants reported significant reductions in depression and anxiety after a single session, with effect sizes larger than CBT or antidepressant medication. Read the study →

I found RIM while searching for something deeper to offer my clients. What I discovered was a modality that didn't just help them it kept going. Into my own healing. Into generational wounds I hadn't fully named. Into memories I had understood but never actually regenerated.

RIM is one of my clients' favorite tools. Not because I sell it but because of what happens in the session. Women come in carrying something they've talked about for years. They leave having actually moved it.

I spent over a decade as a Licensed Professional Counselor before stepping out of the clinical model to work as a life coach with women worldwide. That background means I understand the nervous system, trauma, and what a session needs to feel safe not just productive. I brought RIM into this work because nothing else goes quite as deep, quite as fast.

Sessions are blocked for 2 hours

RIM is not rushed. We block 2 hours so your nervous system has all the time it needs though many sessions complete in less. Every session finishes one full piece of work from beginning to end. You will not be left mid-process, and you will not be watching the clock.

Sessions are virtual

All RIM sessions take place via video. You will need a quiet, private space where you can have your eyes closed and won't be interrupted. No special equipment needed. Women from Finland, South Africa, the UK, and across the US have done this work virtually.

You don't need to know what to work on

RIM is client-generated. You don't need to identify a specific memory or issue in advance. The process finds what needs to be found. Many clients are surprised by what arises and by how quickly it resolves.

You will feel safe throughout

The RIM facilitator's primary skill is what's called "Exquisite Following" following your inner experience without directing it, until you arrive at resolution on your own terms. You are in control at every moment. The process does not push harder than your nervous system is ready for.

$222 Supporter Rate

The full cost of the session what I would charge in the absence of a sliding scale. This tier is for you if you have access to financial security, own property, have personal savings, and spend little time worried about meeting basic needs like food, housing, or healthcare. If you can pay for wants as well as needs, and have economic stability in your life, this price is for you.

$150 Standard Rate

This tier reflects the reality that some people would be prevented from attending at full cost, but who don't find themselves honestly reflected in either the highest or lowest description. If you are working to conquer debt or build savings, living close to paycheck to paycheck, but have access to steady income and are not spending most of your time managing basic needs you belong here. If you can ask family, a partner, or friends for financial support, please consider that before using the sliding scale.

This tier exists because there are people whose economic circumstances would prevent them from accessing this work entirely if there were no deliberate opportunity for them. If you struggle to maintain access to healthcare, housing, food, or childcare, are living paycheck to paycheck or carrying significant debt you belong here, and your payment is equal in value to anyone else's. Common questions

Before you talk yourself out of it.

"I don't have a specific trauma. Is RIM still for me?"

Yes. RIM works with any emotional pattern that feels stuck people-pleasing, self-doubt, anxiety, grief, relationship patterns, identity confusion. You don't need a diagnosis or a dramatic event. You just need something that isn't resolving through thinking about it.

"What if I can't visualize?"

Most people who say they "can't visualize" find that they can when they're guided gently into body awareness first. RIM doesn't require clear pictures. Sensations, colors, feelings, and impressions all count. The process meets you where your inner experience actually is.

"What if I get overwhelmed or go somewhere scary?"

The RIM facilitator is trained to pace the session with your nervous system, not ahead of it. You will not be pushed further than you're ready to go. The process is designed to create safety at every step including when something difficult arises. That difficulty is not a sign something is wrong. It's often the doorway.

"Is this the same as hypnosis?"

No. You are fully conscious throughout a RIM session. You can open your eyes, speak, and stop at any time. You are never in a trance. The eyes-closed, internally focused state is similar to meditation a natural inward attention, not an altered or unconscious state.

"I'm already in therapy. Can I do RIM too?"

Yes and many clients find RIM a powerful complement to therapy. RIM goes where talk therapy cannot always reach. If you're working with a therapist and want to share notes from your session with them, that can be arranged.

"The sliding scale feels uncomfortable like I'm taking something."

That discomfort is worth noticing. Choosing the rate that fits your actual financial reality is not taking something. It's exactly what the scale is designed for. The supporter rate exists because others paid it. It's a community not a charity.
